My Story

I grew up in Southern California, shaped by golden West Coast sunsets and salty ocean air. That golden glow of long summer evenings and barefoot beach days became a part of me, and it's what I still chase with my camera!

A few years ago, I took a leap of faith and moved to the East Coast. I fell in love with a Virginia boy who whisked me away to the Blue Ridge Mountains (just ask me about how we met!) — and somehow, I fell in love all over again. With him, yes, but also with this place.

There’s something quieter here, and more grounding. The fog that clings to the hills in the morning. The wildflowers along the roadside. The way the sun filters through tall grass at golden hour. Virginia's beauty feels a little more hidden, like a secret you’re invited into. And that subtlety has deepened my eye as an artist.

My work is rooted in nostalgia and softness. I’m drawn to the quiet gestures, the wind-tousled hair, the way someone looks at the person they love when they forget a camera is there. I want my photos to feel like a deep breath, or a fond memory.

This little corner of Virginia is where my heart and camera have found their rhythm. And I’d be honored to document something beautiful for you here...something you’ll want to hold onto for years to come!

Looking back, I can so clearly see God’s hand woven into every part of this journey, even the chapters I didn’t understand at the time. His faithfulness, His timing, His beauty: they show up in the details, and that’s what I look for through my lens, too!
