The best advice I can give is to truly be intentional about soaking in every glance, every squeeze of a hand, every burst of laughter. These real, unscripted moments are what make your photos so precious. When you let yourself live your day fully, the camera simply captures the love that’s already shining through.
I’ll let you know when to look at me, so you don’t have to worry about posing or “performing” for the camera. Instead, focus on the joy around you—smile, laugh, cry, hug, twirl, dance.
Stick with Each other
The most beautiful candids happen because you’re connected. Be intentional to walk together. Greet guests together. Squeeze hands during the reception. Lean in during conversations.
When you stay close to one another, your photos reflect the love you and joy you share together!

Your bouquet is beautiful, but your face tells the story! A simple tip: hold your bouquet lower, near your waist. That way, every shot captures the joy and emotion on your face, while still showing off your stunning flowers.

Grooms, when it comes to jackets, the little details make a big difference.
For a three-button jacket, button the top two or just the middle — never the bottom.
Two-button jackets? Stick with just the top button.
Standing still for portraits? Buttoned looks sharp. Sitting down or moving around? Unbuttoned keeps it relaxed and natural.
And if your jacket is new, be sure to check that stitches are opened so everything sits perfectly!
Graceful Posture
I will absolutely be guiding you when it's time for portraits, but a go-to posture tip that will make you look gorgeous in all your photos is to relax your shoulders and bring them slightly back.
Imagine the crown of your head lifting slightly upward. Then bring your chin forward just a touch and tip it down ever so slightly.
This subtle adjustment effortlessly elongates your neck and helps flatter your already stunning profile!
Grooms, relax your stance
A great posing tip for grooms is to turn one shoulder slightly toward the camera and shift weight into the back foot. This creates a natural, confident line without looking stiff!
Unsure where to put your hands?
When in doubt, hands can go in your pockets, holding your jacket, or around your bride.

One of the most overlooked tips is simply to slow down. Walk slowly. Hug a little longer. Pause before you pull away from a kiss. Let moments linger.
